How much is the Deposit and Why do I pay one?

A deposit is anywhere from $100-$200.

Your deposit ensures you and your artist will be present on an agreed upon date, with an agreed upon design. A 72hr notice is required to reschedule your appointment (failure to do so may result in the loss of your deposit) The deposit will be deducted from the final price of your tattoo once the tattoo is complete.

How can I Prepare for my Tattoo Appointment?

Make sure to eat a full meal and drink plenty of water day of your tattoo appointment!

Come in dressed comfortable and remember to bring a sweatshirt. Feel free to bring a clean blanket in the colder months! *Pro Tip: Bring sunglasses to dim the bright lights!

It is always a good idea to moisturize leading up to your tattoo appointment. Doing so will lead to a more pleasant experience for both you and your artist.

What to expect at your appointment

Once you arrive at Jurassic Ink you will be greeted with a friendly face and a consent form to fill out. Our shop offers free beverages and snacks for clients, don’t be afraid to ask! After you have filled out your consent form you will need to present your ID.

Design will be presented day of your appointment; minor changes may be made together day of.

What is the Cost?

Cost will likely be broken down into hourly.

Both Russ and Maia charge $200/hour and have a $200 minimum.

How do I care for my New Tattoo?

Wash your hands and gently remove your bandage. Once you remove your bandage wash your tattoo with liquid or foam anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Make sure to thoroughly rinse your tattoo, do not leave soap on your new tattoo. Use a fresh paper towel to dab the water off of your new tattoo. Once the tattoo is completely dry apply a thin layer of tattoo ointment/ unscented lotion. Repeat these steps in the morning when you wake up and before you go to bed each night, for two weeks.
